The Next Step in “Fixing The Leaky Pipeline®”

Updated: Dec 14, 2020

On August 25 we launched a consumer engagement program called, “The Leaky Pipeline.” This concept and campaign were the beginning of our vision to spark larger dialogue in the public sphere about gender equity.

Equity for all® requires voices from all, and our consumer initiative engaged people wherever they were in their journey toward gender equity. And, it continues today. The goal of this program was, and continues to be, to raise awareness of the measurable economic impact the U.S. workforce can realize if we achieve gender equity. We shed light on the opportunity we have to collectively pursue and reach gender equity for this generation and generations to come.

To the 1.5M impressions we garnered – thank you for helping us imagine and articulate a world that has secured gender equity, and what that will mean in our day-to-day lives. Today, on the 36th anniversary of Sandra Day O’Connor being sworn in as the first woman U.S. Supreme Court Justice, we launch the next step in our journey: the Pipeline® technical solution.

Justice O’Connor’s appointment signaled a national shift toward recognizing the importance of including women critical decision making roles. Justice O’Connor proved through her accomplishments that excellence in leadership is not gender-specific. In reflecting on being a female justice, she said, “I think the important thing about my appointment is not that I will decide cases as a woman, but that I am a woman who will get to decide cases”. In fact, Justice O’Connor recognized the societal benefits of inclusion. She stated “society as a whole benefits immeasurably from a climate in which all persons, regardless of race or gender, may have the opportunity to earn respect, responsibility, advancement and remuneration based on ability.” She is a pioneer in shattering expectations. Pipeline’s technical solution provides our customers with cutting-edge data science and artificial intelligence designed to stop unconscious bias in the workplace and increase financial performance. Now, our customers can better engage their employees and achieve improved financial outcomes.

We celebrate Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s accomplishments in demonstrating gender parity. Join us in continuing her legacy of shattering expectations – your journey starts here.
